Ace for Josh Mylan, ARTC!

Congratulations to Josh Mylan B.Sc ATT, ARTC on his recent appointment within Tennis Ireland.

The 2009 graduate of the Athletic Therapy & Training degree in DCU, Mylan takes up a newly appointed dual position of Strength and Conditioning coach and Athletic Rehabilitation Therapist to both junior and senior squads, whom train out of the National Tennis Centre in Dublin City University. The Drogheda native, who also runs the 'Mylan Clinic' located in Balbriggan, will be responsible for conditioning programmes, injury prevention programmes and all duties encompassing that of the ARTC including covering the upcoming 2011 Irish Open at the Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club.

"My main objectives are to educate in prevention of injuries and improve the movement of the Junior Squad in regards to the Senior squad to increase the strength, power, movement and educate them on how to prevent and maintain the gains from training while on the road", explains Josh. We wish him the very best of luck in his new role.
