ARTI will be running a combined Cardiac First Responder (CFR) and Emergency
First Responder (EFR) course in January of 2012.
These traumatology courses are the minimum required standard of emergency care training for ARTI members and are accredited by the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council of Ireland (PHECC) which is the statutory EMS (emergency medical services) regulator in Ireland. Course Dates: 17th, 18th, 24th, and 25th of January (Tue/Wed/Tue/Wed) 2012
Location: Dublin City University
Duration: 9.30am to 5pm each day
Cost: €275 for ARTI members, €375 for non-ARTI members
Prerequisites: None (no previous emergency training required)
Certification Validity: CFR Certification is valid for 2 years and EFR Certification is valid for 3 years
Recertification: Recertification takes approx 2 hours for CFR and 12 hours for EFR
